Day 90: The New Foundation is Set
3 Month Journey Stepping into a New Identity
I made it. đ
Ninety days ago, I stopped just âthinking about itâ and actually started doing it. I committed to a 90-day health journey to put my own lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness practices to the test. I promised you an unpolished, honest look at the hesitation, the hurdles, and the real wins.
Looking back at where I started, the change is tangible. This journey was never about a rigid set of rules; it was about learning to shift in a sustainable way.
What I Learned From This Round
Here are the true lessons this round taught me:
Itâs okay to be vulnerable: Real connection and growth happen when you drop the polished exterior and share the actual, honest journey. This was hard! đŤŁ
Keep the focus narrow: Donât choose too many things to focus on at once. I tried to do too much initially and ended up having to drop a few pieces, like the red light therapy and rebounding, just to protect my core habits. Less is more.
People around you only have your historical data: Others are not inside your head. They donât know the deep shifts you are feeling right now; they only have your past actions to go on. Give them grace while they wait for new evidence to catch up to the reality of who you are now. And it is your responsibility to upload new data.
The old patterns have been reformulated. I am proud of this foundation, and it is officially set.
The 90-Day Outcomes
By showing up consistently, I remapped my daily habits and internal baseline. Here are the outcomes from the last three months:
Physical Progress: I successfully shifted my weight down 8 lbs and built noticeable physical strength.
Embracing Nutrition & Data: Despite having zero initial interest in counting calories or tracking, I fully embraced a daily tracking routine and optimized my plant based protein intake.
Stopped Taking in New Info: I quickly learned that I had to keep my focus narrow and not digest new or varied content because EVERYONE has their own opinion. So I only listened to those on the same page.
Shifting Cravings: My body/mind cleared out some of the food noise. Hyper-palatable, processed foods started tasting like heavy oil rather than a treat, and my body now naturally leans towards cleaner foods. Funny how this can be a real bummer sometimes!
Breaking the Rebound Loop: When I traveled to Austin, the old âall-or-nothingâ trap tried to pull me back. In the past, going off plan meant staying off track for weeks or months and losing momentum. Now, going âoffâ lasts anywhere from a single meal to three days max, a massive improvement that I hesitated to celebrate!. Celebrate Everything!~ đđââď¸
Facing the Hard Feelings: I did deep mindset work. I sat through the uncomfortable feelings of embarrassment and the nagging sensation of being âbehindâ everyone else. Tapping and other energy work was my go to.
Navigating Past History: I learned to navigate the caution and disbelief of people around me without giving away my power, letting my (albeit non-linear) consistency speak for itself.
Unshakeable Consistency: I stepped out from behind my typed words, hit record, and shared my first community video. âCreating and shippingâ hasnât historically been my strong suit, but writing about this project every week proves I can do it, and even (kind of) enjoy it!
Whatâs Next:
Welcome to 90-Day Summer Camp
For my next 90 days, I am turning this space into a real-life laboratory called:
90-Day Summer Camp.
Instead of a grueling, rigid 75 Hard challenge, think of this as a space for exploration, curiosity, and testing new things. Reminded by the lesson learned to keep my focus narrow, I am going to concentrate on integrating a few new daily habits that are currently marinating in my mind.
I will be the camp explorer, checking out the trails first. Iâll practice them by pulling out the practical takeaways. Every week, Iâll report back right here with the unfiltered, straightforward results of what actually helps calm the nervous system and what wasnât helpful.
The main focus areas will be:
Increasing my dead hang and why it is beneficial
Exploring cravings and how to detach more quickly
Looking at health, fitness and diet info from different angles
Clearing clutter and creating systems
Creating space and alignment with Block Therapy
Thank you for walking these 90 days with me. Now pack your bags for camp, and letâs get started.
What activities will you do for Summer Camp? âď¸âşď¸
